I’m Running for Home!

Across Lexington, people are feeling stuck.

The housing ladder that once helped people move from renting to a starter home just isn’t working anymore. With so few affordable starter homes available, too many residents are stuck on that first rung— and when people can’t move up, rents rise for everyone. It’s a real, citywide problem that affects families, seniors, and young professionals alike, and it’s shaping the future of our community.

I’m running for Council because we can do better. We can rebuild the missing rungs of that housing ladder, support responsible growth that protects the character of our neighborhoods, and strengthen transparency so people can trust how decisions are made. Lexington deserves leadership that listens, collaborates, and focuses on practical solutions— leadership that helps everyone have a fair chance to climb, grow, and thrive.
